Tracking application for a food processing factory

In food processing facilities, it is extremely critical to identify and separate microbial particles at the beginning of the processing stage itself because there is a chance of contamination of the while batch once the process starts.
OREOPS was used as a platform to develop and implement a mapping and tracing system at a manufacturing facility that converts raws eggs into egg powder.
Even if any microbes are discovered in the middle of the processing, it becomes important to identify the raw material source and trace all the batches that have the raw material and isolate them from being packaged. The factory needed an IT system to track all the processes and batch numbers and back track to the raw material source.

OREOPS was used as a development platform to develop a comprehensive application with over 15 data entry screens, 20 report monitoring screens and 30 workflows that were incorporated in the product. All this was done without writing a single line of code. The team members involved in developing the product was:

- 1 Quality engineer
Within a span of 1 month, the team was able to deliver the application required for the factory. The system was designed when the factory was breaking 200k eggs a day. Now the factory breaks 2 million eggs a day with the same system being used.
