Once the source code is downloaded, check whether all dependency software and files are installed in your local system.
iOS Build
While taking a build in iOS, it will be of two types – Debug, Release.
Debug
User can download the .ipa file and test in mobile
Release
User can download the .ipa file and test in mobile , and can publish the app in App Store. To take ios release build , a user need to upload required files and credentials in App Settings (iOS Configuration).
Pre-requisites for iOS Platform
Before starting the build generation process, the following pre-requisites are to be satisfied
- Active iOS developer account
- Team ID
- App provisioning file with correct app identifier for build (Example: if the application name is iosdemo, then app identifier is to be com.oreops.iosdemo)
- Development provisioning file for debug build and App Store for Release build
- App icon in the format specified in application settings
Build Generation Process
- Login to the workspace with the credentials provided by the administrator
- Upon successful login, create a new application without using special characters by providing the required details
- Application name – iosdemo
- Description – ios demo application
- Choose Theme and Style and
- Click on Create to create the application
- Once the application is created, Open application settings and set the start-up page
- Navigate to the Mobile configuration tab and select iOS sub-tab
- Update the Provisioning files and Team ID
- Update the App icon with the help of sample file
- On updating the icon, Save the changes and generate the iOS build by clicking on the iOS icon
- On successful completion of build generation, download the IPA Build and upload in the link https://www.diawi.com/ for installable QRCode
- Scan the generated QR code for installing the application in the devices mentioned in the provisioning files.
